A simple way to set screen time limits for children
- At the beginning of the week issue your screen time tokens
- Involve your child in deciding which days will be ‘screen free’
- Use a timer so your child knows when their time is up
Advice from the National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE) suggests that children should have screen free days or have a two hour limit in front of screens.
Don’t forget all children are entitled to NHS funded sight tests.
