We have a variety of volunteer roles in our Family Hubs.

Tuesday 24th February 2026 and Tuesday 3rd March 2026

10:00am - 12:00pm

Innovations Family Hub, Cousin Lane, Halifax, HX2 8DQ
You will learn about what volunteering opportunities we have available within our Family Hubs and Nurseries, what we offer and how you can benefit.
This will cover safeguarding, confidentiality and health and safety.
Once both session are complete and following the receipt of a DBS and 2 satisfactory references, you will be offered a position with us volunteering. We have a range of volunteering opportunities available, from working in early years to admin.

We are looking for friendly people to get involved in becoming Parent Champions!

If so, this could be the volunteering opportunity for you!
Families who access our services are regularly consulted with, and now we would like to invite some parents to join us, to volunteer, and to help make a difference to their local community.
We’re always looking for Telephone Befriending Volunteers.
If you are friendly, chatty and would like to give some time to make a regular call and brighten someone’s day then this is the perfect opportunity for you.
The commitment can be as little as half an hour a week and the difference you can make to someone’s life is immeasurable.
