The unit provides assessments, scans, and advice for women with symptoms such as pain or bleeding in early pregnancy, and those at high risk of complications like ectopic pregnancy.
The Early Pregnancy Assessment Unit (EPAU) for Calderdale is part of the Calderdale and Huddersfield NHS Foundation Trust (CHFT) and is located at Calderdale Royal Hospital. You can contact the unit by calling 01422 224415 if you are under 16 weeks pregnant and experiencing symptoms like pain or bleeding.Â

Your booking appointment, blood tests, scans and any consultant appointments will be at Antenatal Clinic 01422 224580.
Your antenatal and postnatal appointments, and any non-urgent care, will be with a Community Midwife in your local area.
Please phone MAC or the Birth Centre as appropriate when you think you are in labour.
