Elland Nursery provides children with the best start in life. We pride ourselves on the nurturing environment that we provide for children, with caring enthusiastic staff that are experienced and qualified.
We provide excellent daycare and early education for babies and children in an exciting and stimulating environment. Learning is always fun meaning that children develop to their full potential with the support and encouragement of dedicated staff. We have an Ofsted rating of ‘good’ and endeavour to achieve outstanding.
Our nursery is purpose built and boasts a cosy, homely baby room for our under 2’s to investigate and explore and a spacious, well-resourced room for the 2 to 5 year olds with access to an exciting outdoor space to play. Furthermore, our team of exceptional early year’s practitioners have been hand-picked due their passion for supporting children to reach their full potential through ongoing encouragement and praise.
We operate a key person system within the nursery which means that your child will be allocated a member of staff who, as their main carer, will be responsible for developing a close relationship with them so that they feel cherished, secure and content whilst they are with us. Parents also benefit from this as they have a regularly point of contact for any questions or concerns and are kept informed and involved at all times. Parents/carers will be provided with daily information of their child’s activities, such as how much they have eaten, what their mood have been like, which friends they have played with throughout the day – all those little moments that parents want to hear about!
There are no hidden charges, we don’t charge a retainer fee or for days when the nursery is closed i.e. training days and Christmas. All meals are included (breakfast, lunch, tea, snacks and drinks).

We are an Inclusion Friendly Setting and have been awarded the Dingley’s Promise mark of achievement!
To achieve this award, and demonstrate our commitment to inclusive, current practice staff have completed a number of training modules including:
- Inclusive practice
- Transitions
- Difficult Conversations with families
- Behaviours that challenge
- Voice of the child
The award highlights our continuing commitment to inclusive practice in early years.
