Celebrating babies, young children and families across Calderdale
Join us for Calderdale’s fourth Baby Week, taking place from 14–20 November 2026.
This year’s theme, The Story of Babies – Chat, Play, Read With Me, celebrates the importance of talking, singing, playing and sharing stories with babies and young children from their very first days. The week also celebrates the National Year of Reading, highlighting how sharing books, stories and songs from an early age can help build a love of reading and support children’s development.
Throughout Baby Week, families can enjoy a range of free and low-cost activities for parents, babies and young children.
