We’d love to invite you to a friendly drop-in session to help you discover everything your local Family Hubs have to offer.
Whether you’re new to fostering or have been fostering for years, come along to meet the Family Hubs team, find out about the support available, and explore how our services could benefit you and the children in your care.

What you can find out about
At the session you’ll have the opportunity to:
- Meet members of the Family Hubs team.
- Learn about the groups, activities and services available across Calderdale Family Hubs.
- Find out about support available for foster families, including parenting courses and our Support Along the Spectrum sessions.
- Meet representatives from Dads R Us and our Dads Matter worker.
- Ask questions and find out how Family Hubs can support you throughout your fostering journey.
Bring the children along
Young children are very welcome to come with you. There will be play activities available throughout the session, and our sensory room will be open for families to enjoy.
We want to hear from you
We’re keen to hear your thoughts about how Family Hubs can best support foster carers. This is a great opportunity to tell us what you’d like to see us offer in the future and how our spaces could support peer support sessions for foster carers.
Refreshments will be provided, and there’s no need to book—simply drop in at a time that suits you between 9:30am and 11:00am.
