Over 100 local residents joined us for a truly special VE Day event, filled with joy, music, and remembrance.
We served a delicious afternoon tea, and the room was alive with dancing and singing all afternoon!
Entertainment included the wonderful Amazing Grace, bringing the 1940s to life with her beautiful vocals, and the talented Jed & Maggie, who performed music from across the eras.
We were honoured to welcome the Deputy Mayor, Councillor Diana Tremayne, and her consort Rachel Terry, along with a powerful display from the Halifax Armed Forces Veterans Association.
