Wellholme Park Art Project

We had recently been invited by a company called “BAM” to create a piece of art work for the local park, which would end up be displayed on one of the wooden screens in the park. Our chosen topic was wildlife and conservation. The younger children used paint brushes and handprints to create butterflies, bees, ladybirds and flowers. The older children created still life art work using natural found objects and adding some extra creative resources too.

Today some of the children and staff took a visit to the park to look at our art work displayed in real life – this was a great opportunity for our nursery to be involved in and we have really enjoyed seeing the final product in real life. Of course we paid a little visit to the play area afterwards (it would be rude not to!) The children loved letting off some steam and exploring with their friends.

If your paying a visit to the park soon we would love to see any more pictures of our children visiting!
