This Local Nature Reserve and urban park is situated off Beechwood Drive within walking distance of several schools in North Halifax. This Park offers great facilities to cater for all ages and preferences including play areas, football pitches, a bike track, crown green bowls and for those of you who enjoy working out, you can have a go on the outdoor gym equipment. For the nature lovers and those who might just enjoy a peaceful walk, you can head to the top side of the park where you will find several paths leading into the woodland area which is home to a variety of wildlife including roe deer, rabbits, foxes and not to mention a variety of butterfly’s insects & bird life, including woodpeckers.
