Our Volunteers’ Summer Celebration Party was a small but very special occasion, bringing people together to recognise and appreciate the time, care and commitment our volunteers give. It was lovely to have the chance to say thank you properly and to celebrate the difference that all the North Halifax Partnership volunteers make in our community.
We received comments from our guests saying that the atmosphere was relaxed and welcoming, with plenty of opportunities for attendees to chat, enjoy themselves and feel valued. The food, provided by the lovely Kat from Staying Well, was absolutely fantastic. So many people commented on how light and fresh the buffet was, and how thoughtful it was to include all dietary requirements, as some are so often forgotten.
The entertainment added a lovely touch to the occasion, provided by Jed & Maggie – their singing was so uplifting, and it meant that lots of our guests were singing and dancing along – a sure sign of a great party!
Most importantly, the event gave us a chance to show our appreciation and recognise the valuable contribution of our volunteers, and we can’t wait to do it all again!
