DESCRIPTION:A new 12-week Gentle Exercise programme is launching at Mixenden Activity Centre (MAC) this September. This free course is open to anyone living with cancer or other long-term health conditions and offers a welcoming\, supportive space to improve wellbeing through gentle movement and connection. \n\n\n\nWhat’s included: \n\n\n\n\nGentle armchair-based exercises\n\n\n\nRelaxation\, reflection and talktime\n\n\n\nGames and a weekly raffle\n\n\n\n\nSessions are led by Lauren\, a Level 4 exercise instructor with specialist training in cancer pre/rehab and cardiac rehabilitation. Lisa\, a Cancer Support and Staying Well worker\, will also be on hand to offer emotional support and signposting to other services. \n\n\n\nCourse details: \n\n\n\n\nEvery Monday – Starts 15th September\n\n\n\nTime: 10.00am – 11.30am\n\n\n\nVenue: Mixenden Activity Centre (MAC)\, Clough Lane\, Mixenden\, HX2 8SH\n\n\n\nFree to attend (donations welcome)\n\n\n\n\nTo find out more or book your place\, please contact Lauren on 07956 940 829. \n\n\n\nThis course is supported by Macmillan Cancer Support\, West Yorkshire and Harrogate Cancer Alliance\, and Staying Well.

DESCRIPTION:Singing Mamas is back on Monday the 22nd of September with 11 x FREE weekly sessions at MAC between 10-11.30am. \n\n\n\nThis group is for mamas\, grandmas\, aunties\, female carers and their little ones. DESCRIPTION:A new 12-week Gentle Exercise programme is launching at Mixenden Activity Centre (MAC) this September. This free course is open to anyone living with cancer or other long-term health conditions and offers a welcoming\, supportive space to improve wellbeing through gentle movement and connection. \n\n\n\nWhat’s included: \n\n\n\n\nGentle armchair-based exercises\n\n\n\nRelaxation\, reflection and talktime\n\n\n\nGames and a weekly raffle\n\n\n\n\nSessions are led by Lauren\, a Level 4 exercise instructor with specialist training in cancer pre/rehab and cardiac rehabilitation.
