NHP are looking for local people to join our trustee board

Do you live or work in Illingworth, Ovenden or Mixenden?

We are looking for local people to join our trustee board

Founded in 1998, North Halifax Partnership Ltd is a resident -led charity working for  and with local people

We don’t just work in North Halifax. We provide many services and activities to improve personal and community health and wellbeing across North and East Halifax and the Lower Calder Valley. They include  community projects, children’s centres, family support, Staying Well , family  learning, and work support.

We are one of the Community Anchors of Calderdale and we bring people and organisations together in local places.

We would love to hear from both from people who have no previous experience, and those looking for a new trustee role on a friendly and dedicated board. We’re particularly looking for applicants who:

  • Living or working in Illingworth & Mixenden or  Ovenden wards
  • Finance, Audit and Risk management in an SME or large business
  • Senior Management experience in NHS, Police, and Schools – with a passion for best practice delivery involving local communities
  • Raising educational aspiration and attainment in local communities though increased participation

We want to increase the diversity of our board to reflect our community and particularly welcome ethnic minority applicants.

Have a look at what some of our board members say about their experience as an NHP Board member.
