Our Annual General meeting last night saw us looking back over a year that saw the beginning of this terrible global pandemic.
Our Snapshot report highlights just some of our key achievements from that year but there are many achievements that we haven’t included such as coordinating the local Covid19 community response and the setting up of emergency food provision.
As as an organisation we have had to re-design our services to react to local need and be creative and innovative with our physical and virtual delivery. For example, our Staying Well team developed a telephone befriending service to address the isolating effects of lockdown and social distancing.
As always NHP teams worked really hard, and in 2019 we welcomed new staff to deliver the Place Based social action work and the delivery of the Active Calderdale agenda for North Halifax.
We know that the pandemic is bringing us some challenges but North Halfiax Partnership continues to support our communities and adapt our services to meet local need. We thank our Trustees, staff and volunteers who every day ensure NHP is building a better future for all generations.
Please enjoy our Snapshot and some short videos illustrating a very busy year!
