North Halifax Partnership Chair Danielle Durrans is taking part in a high profile BBC broadcast on the 28th November called #mumtakeover.
The event in Blackpool aims to be the UK’s biggest conversation about mums and mental health – from post natal depression to loneliness to work/life balance and juggling it all – with a focus on positive solutions.
Ovenden mum of two Danielle said
“I’m so excited to be asked along. As mum of teenage girls I know the issues a mum faces can be wide ranging and often the greatest support you can get is from your other mum friends. As a Director of North Halifax Partnership managing a number of Sure Start Children’s Centres in Calderdale I have a real interest in how local services are providing support to mums”.
Celeb mums Stacey Solomon, Rochelle Humes, mum blogger and author Giovanna Fletcher, and DJ Neev Spencer will be joining 5 Live’s Anna Foster to host, with a panel of experts and an audience of 450+ mums primed to discuss the issues. It’s all going to be filmed in the beautiful Circus room of the Blackpool Tower and will be broadcast across the BBC – both digitally and via the news channel and 5 Live.
